This data is collectively referred to as “Personal Investment Data.” Your Personal Investment Data is not shared with any third party except: (a) if you opt to authorize a person ("Designated User") with whom you choose to share your Personal Investment Data through access to you portfolio(s) in AssetView; (b) if you opt to install Third-Party Developer Extensions described in the Extension Partner Data section below, then you are choosing to share your Personal Investment Data with that Third-Party Developer; (c) in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request; or (d) to the administrative or legal authorities or any other authorized third party where this data sharing is set out in law.
AssetView may collect data including but not limited to your name, device session identifier, IP address, clicks, actions (e.g. launching the application, pages viewed), and properties (e.g. type, version, language for your operating system). The portion of this data that makes it possible to identify you directly is referred to as Personal Data (“PD”). Personal Information Parties include employees, contractors, subsidiaries, and any company to which we could sell or assign all or part of our company or activities. AssetView discloses Personal Data information only to Personal Information Parties that: (a) need to know that information in order to process it on AssetView’s behalf or to provide services available at AssetView’s website; (b) that have agreed not to disclose it to others; and (c) agree not to re-use it for their own behalf. AssetView also discloses Personal Data: (a) in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request; or (b) to the administrative or legal authorities or any other authorized third party where this data sharing is set out in law; or (c) when AssetView believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of AssetView, third parties, or the public at large. AssetView uses PD for: (a) bug-fixing; (b) analytics to improve our products and services; (c) identifying additional services and functionalities you might need; (d) processing requests for assistance; (e) finding and preventing security problems, (f) identifying and addressing fraudulent activity and violations; (g) optimizing marketing operations (e.g. information on the most-used functions); and (h) sending important information (e.g. security notifications). All data that AssetView collects that is not Personal Data is referred to as Non-Personal Data, which AssetView may release in the aggregate.

AssetView uses select partners (“Provider Partners”) to provide some functionality in AssetView. The data that these Provider Partners manage is referred to as "Provider Data.” We use these Provider Partners because we believe their technology is industry leading to maintain security and privacy, and their commitment to security and privacy aligns with our core values. In these cases, your private data is communicated directly through an application programming interface to the Provider Partner. Provider Partners are independent entities from AssetView. So, AssetView is not responsible for the way in which our Provider Partners use your Personal Data. If you want further information about these companies, please consult with them directly. Please review their policies thoroughly before using AssetView.

You may elect to use extensions (“Extensions”) to AssetView. Extensions modify or create additional functionality in AssetView. Some Extensions are authored and owned by AssetView (“AssetView Extensions”). Your data in AssetView Extensions is treated as “Personal Investment Data.” Many Extensions are authored by third-party developers (“3PDs”). The Extensions they create are referred to as "Third-Party Developer Extensions" or “3PD Extensions.” 3PDs must sign a security and privacy agreement with AssetView in order to offer a 3PD Extension. Still, they are independent entities from AssetView. So, AssetView is not responsible for the way in which our Provider Partners use your data. As an additional layer for your protection, when you elect to install a 3PD Extension, you will sign a security and privacy agreement directly with the 3PD. Please review that agreement thoroughly before installing a 3PD Extension.
